MatrixPointe provides targeted expertise in Health and Human Services. Our primary clients are State Agencies including Medicaid, Social Services and Children and Family Services, CMS and public and private entities who interact with them. Our experience spans Medicaid and Medicare and includes plan design, policy, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, operations and information technology.

Bob SeiffertBob Seiffert, CEO and Co-Founder
Bob Seiffert served as Medicaid Director for eighteen of his thirty years of government service to the State of Nebraska. As Medicaid Director, he managed a staff of nearly two hundred, including medical professionals, fraud investigators and claims processing individuals. During Mr. Seiffert's state career, he managed the $1+ Billion Medicaid budget, dealt with many legislative issues and worked with the Federal Government and more than twenty major health care organizations to improve the state's health care system for low income families, elderly persons and persons with disabilities. He led a task force that brought reform to the state's long-term care system, including the largest program of conversion of nursing homes to assisted living in the United States. He served many years on CMS's Medicaid Long-Term Care Technical Advisory Group. He also served on the Executive Committee of the National Association of State Medicaid Directors. Mr. Seiffert is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.

Stephen CurtissStephen Curtiss, President and Co-Founder
Stephen Curtiss served as the Director of Health and Human Services for Nebraska under U.S. Senator Mike Johanns (while he was Governor of Nebraska from 2000 - 2004). In that role Mr. Curtiss managed a number of operational entities including the $1+ billion Medicaid program and a $100 million Information Technology and Administration organization. He was appointed by the Governor to the Statewide Substance Abuse Taskforce and served on the Executive Committee of the American Public Human Services Association in Washington D.C. Mr. Curtiss' 25+ years of experience also include serving in executive positions with numerous private and publicly-traded healthcare providers, service companies and a venture capital firm. His roles have included responsibility for operations, strategy, marketing, finance, mergers and acquisitions and information technology. Mr. Curtiss started his career as a CPA and consultant with Price Waterhouse. He has a BS from Milligan College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Thomas W. LenzThomas W. Lenz, Chief Operating Officer
Tom Lenz has over 38 years of federal government experience much of it in top positions within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Mr. Lenz was the Consortium Administrator/Regional Administrator for CMS, Kansas City Regional Office where he was the Senior Executive for National field operations for Medicare program (Parts A and B), and the Senior Executive for regional operations of the Medicare, Medicaid and Children's Health programs in the States of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. He also served as an Associate Regional Administrator, Division of Medicaid and Children's Health, CMS Region VII, in various Medicaid roles including Medicaid Operations and Survey and Certification. Mr. Lenz was also a manager and auditor within the Office of Inspector General (OIG). Mr. Lenz is involved in various community activities including service on the Executive Board of the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and holds a B.B.A., Accounting - Washburn University, Topeka, KS.
